Join us for an afternoon of artists talks and refreshments in Bondi Pavilion Gallery with the artists of Beauty Runs the Gauntlet. As part of our celebration for International Women’s Day 2024, Waverley’s esteemed female artists will be discussing their artwork and practices in conversations across themes including historical contextualization, the environment, place, memory, gender and femininity.

Beauty runs the Gauntlet is an exhibition that showcases exceptional female artists residing in the Waverley municipality. This exhibition celebrates, elevates, and highlights the creativity, diversity, and achievements of local women.

Speakers include; Elizbeth Day, Gitte Backhausen, Joy Ivill, Kirsten Fredericks, Marisa Purcell, Maz Dixon, Rox De Luca, Zorica Purlija.

Beauty Runs the Gauntlet is open from 10am-5pm daily, 2 Feb – 17 March 2024.
