Beneath the Surface is an art get-together showcasing the creations of four fresh graduates from the Advanced Diploma of Visual Art program: Lucy Hookway, Lina Ocolisan, Susie Roberts and Tash Tribe. These talented ceramic artists have decided to dive deep—literally and metaphorically—into themes like nostalgia, grief, trauma and all the thrilling mysteries of the ocean. It's like a therapy session but with clay, where the only thing getting damaged is the pottery.

You can expect to see a funky variety of ceramic techniques and materials, each piece telling its own little story—sort of like a family reunion, but without the awkward small talk. The exhibition is free to wander through, which means your wallet can relax while your brain gets a workout. So pop by the Barometer Gallery in Paddington, and who knows, you might even find a few pieces that resonate with your own journey, or at least one you can pretend to understand while nodding thoughtfully.
