Get ready to kick back and enjoy some classy tunes, because the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne is back in town. Since 2014, Watsons Bay has been the go-to spot for this musical shindig, bringing a slice of European vibe to our laid-back Aussie shores. After strutting their stuff on tours across Europe and beyond in 2019 and 2020, these talented folks are making a grand return in summer 2025. And where better to showcase their talent than at the picturesque South Head Anglican, right at sunset? Picture this: the sun dipping below the horizon, a backdrop of Australia's stunning harbour, and the sweet sounds of Vivaldi, Bach, and Brahms wafting through the air.
Now, let's talk about the price of admission. It's not going to break the bank—$45 for pensioners, $35 for students and anyone under 16 who's feeling pretty grown-up. And if you're bringing the little ones who are still under 16, they get in for free. Adults, on the other hand, will need to cough up $50, but hey, can you really put a price on culture with a view? So mark your calendars for February 1, 2025, from 7 PM to 9:30 PM, and get ready for an evening that promises to be more enjoyable than trying to explain the rules of cricket to an out-of-towner.
