Head along to hear Hello Cocky, the new picture book by Hilary Bell and Antonia Pesenti, read aloud at this easygoing story session for little ones aged four to seven. Its all about those cheeky cockatoos that screech their way through Aussie backyards, with a few quirky facts thrown in to keep the kids hooked.

Then the fun ramps up as illustrator Antonia Pesenti leads everyone in crafting a flock of paper cockatoos. No stress, all materials are sorted, and its a mix of stories, doodling, and group messing about that should keep the short attention spans happy for the hour.
