There's a kids school holiday event on bracelet weaving using the jellyfish method for years 3 to 6 at Malabar. Its beginner friendly and screen free, with simple steps you can copy at home to keep the knotting going. You start with a cardboard template to whip up base cords, then practise knotting to build colourful ombres, patterns and textured bits. Mess around with yarn thicknesses and colours to end up with a bracelet that screams you.

Its free but bookings are essential online. Kicks off Thursday 16 April 2026 from 3pm to 4pm at Malabar Community Library, 1203 Anzac Parade, Matraville.
