Kids in school years 3 to 6 can dive into bracelet weaving with the oddly named jellyfish method at this free screen free workshop. No prior skills needed, just grab some yarn and a cardboard template to twist base cords, then knot your way through ombre colour fades, quirky patterns, and bumpy textures. Tinker with different yarn thicknesses and shades to end up with a bracelet no one else will have, plus easy steps to recreate the chaos at home.

It runs Thursday 16 April 2026 from 11am to 12pm at Lionel Bowen Library, 69 slash 673 Anzac Parade in Maroubra. Bookings are essential online, so sort that out before showing up.
