Dr Zeny Edwards OAM, the architectural historian and biographer who actually knows her stone from her elbow, is unpacking the tale of the Melocco Brothers. You know, those clever blokes who turned floors and walls into artworks using marble, terrazzo and mosaics.

If you have ever stopped mid stride to gawk at the Tasman Map etched in coloured marble on the Mitchell Library vestibule floor, or snuck a peek at the groovy finishes in the State Theatre or St Marys Cathedral crypt, this is your chance to learn who the magicians were. Its a free talk, no strings attached.
