Mini Makers: Animal Tracking (ages 5-9)

In this Mini Makers session for kids aged 5 to 9, they will figure out why insects and bugs are not the same thing, and get into tracking animals by the tracks and clues they leave behind. Expect some fun with different ways animals move, like hopping about, two legged strolls or four legged trots, and how those footprints give away who is who in the bush. Kids might match up tracks, play around with movement patterns, or make their own animal style prints.

All the stuff you need is there ready to go. Just book tickets for the participating kids, parents and carers tag along for free. It is a free event, register on Eventbrite. Happens on Wednesday 6 May 2026 from 4pm to 4.45pm at Watsons Bay Library, 8 Marine Parade, Watsons Bay, 2030, Australia.
