If you have a budding architect or a small human who simply enjoys clicking bricks together, Paddington Library has just the thing this July. It is a Building Buddies session, designed for kids aged 5 to 12. Each Tuesday afternoon, they can drop in for a fun brick challenge. Imagine a low key, high fun hour to construct something magnificent or gloriously wobbly, using our rather extensive supply of building blocks.

The sessions run from 4 PM to 5 PM. While children under 10 will need a grown up to stick around and supervise the creative chaos, parents and carers are absolutely welcome to join in the building action themselves. You can bring a building buddy along, or simply turn up and find new construction companions. There is no need to raid the piggy bank either, as it is a completely free event, and we provide all the necessary materials.
