Get ready to kick off an art-filled afternoon at the Bondi Pavilion Gallery on 7 December 2024 from 3 to 5 PM. Join us for the debut of Karla Dickens' latest brainchild, Rise and Fall, where she dives headfirst into the theme of climate chaos through a First Nations lens. This installation has a special backstory, cooked up in response to the floods that did quite a number on her hometown of Lismore back in February 2022. Think sculptures, photos, and videos all mingling together like a funky family reunion, highlighting the urgent need for survival and change in a world that feels a bit like it's on the edge of a diving board.

This isn't your run-of-the-mill art show. Rise and Fall packs a punch, making sure we all contemplate who's responsible for the climate pickle we find ourselves in. So, dust off that brain of yours and come have a gander at some thought-provoking art that makes you laugh, cry, and maybe reconsider your next car trip.
