Got some free time over the school holidays and a controller with your name on it? Swing by the Woollahra Library in Double Bay to test your skills (or just have a laugh) with the latest tech like the Switch 2 playing Mario Kart World, the Oculus VR, and the ever-popular PS5. Whether you're aiming to crush your mates or just avoiding homework, there's something here for every kind of gamer — casual, competitive, or somewhere in between. Plus, if you're feeling artsy, the Oculus VR's 3D painting might just unleash your inner Picasso (or abstract disaster).

You'll get your hands on games like Mario Kart World for Switch 2, Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the original Switch, Beat Saber on Oculus VR and a few surprises to keep things interesting. It's a free gig, so bring yourself, your mates, maybe some snacks (but not too many) and have a good time. Registration's on Eventbrite if you want to secure your spot instead of just turning up hoping for the best.
