If you and the kids fancy a bit of arty fun, this session has you covered with pastel drawing of local wildlife, led by the ever-talented Andrea Alembakis. While the little ones get creative, NSW scientist Dr Joseph DiBattista will be dropping some cool facts about the park's freshwater creek and forest — kind of like a nature documentary, but way more interactive and less snooze-worthy.

Plan to stick around for about an hour and a half and don't forget to bring the usual suspects: sunscreen, hats, and water bottles. Fingers crossed for some outdoor playtime, so those essentials will earn their keep. Parents, you'll need to keep an eye on the little artists, preferably without cramping their style. Ages 5 to 9 are the sweet spot, and it'll set you back ten bucks. Nothing too fancy, just a morning of art, science, and hopefully not too much paint on the walls.
