Bondi Kids Workshop: The Art of Wheel Throwing and Hand Building



For a creative hands-on school holiday experience like no other, Waverley Woollahra Art School is hosting an incredible 3-hour clay workshop for children between the ages of 6-15. Or, stay for a full 6 hours for students wishing to extend and develop their knowledge and skills (lunch supervision provided).

Under the expert guidance of their highly experienced tutor, Chris, your children will delve into the fundamentals of this timeless craft and create their very own unique signed vessel to take home.

Not only will they have the opportunity to master pottery wheel throwing, but they'll also explore handbuilding techniques to create additional beautiful forms. The workshop is designed to cater to all skill levels.

To ensure you can proudly display your creations at home, remember to bring a box to safely transport your pottery. You'll have the chance to have your favourite piece fired to cherish forever.
