Mega Maths Mania is rolling around again for Youth Week, aimed at 13 to 18 year olds who reckon maths might not be all that bad after all. UNSW whizz Dr Randell Heyman will guide you through the prettier bits of numbers using nothing fancier than what you picked up in school, like those mind bending impossible shapes, the endless rabbit hole of infinity, and sneaky patterns hiding in nature. Picture this without the headache of equations.

Hell also unpack the everyday wizardry, from how your phone tracks you down even when youre trying to dodge chores, to Googles search magic, streaming secrets, and the eternal question of why soap bubbles insist on being perfectly round instead of wonky. No need for a calculator or PhD, just show up curious at Woollahra Library in Double Bay, 451 New South Head Road, on Tuesday 14 April 2026 from 1pm to 3pm.
