Mini Makers: Clay Bead Craft

Drop in to Watsons Bay Library on Wednesday the first of July, any time between four and five in the afternoon, and get your hands on some modelling clay. The theme is baked goods, so you can make tiny pretend croissants, cookies, or whatever pastry shaped thing takes your fancy. Or you can ignore the food theme entirely and just make earrings, keyrings, beads or pendants. All the bits and pieces are supplied, so you only need to bring yourself and a willingness to get clay under your fingernails.

Parents and carers are required to stay and supervise, which is code for "you get to sit there and help when someone's tiny pretend pie won't stay on its keychain". The event is free, but you need to register on Eventbrite to secure a spot. It is happening at Watsons Bay Library, 8 Marine Parade, Watsons Bay, 2030. Come along and make something small and silly to take home.
