Create your own tiny cast of characters and let them loose in a world of music and movement. In this hands on workshop, you will make two different types of puppet personalities, then team up with other small humans to cook up short story sequences inspired by tunes and wiggles. No experience needed, all materials supplied, and the only risk is getting too attached to a sock with googly eyes.

This free event is on Monday 6 July 2026 from 10.30 to 11.30 am at Paddington Library, 247 Oxford Street, Paddington. Book tickets for participating children only. Parents and carers are free but must stay in the room for the whole hour, presumably to witness the dramatic tension between felt and glue. Bookings are essential, because puppets can only handle so much chaos at once.
