The Australian Library and Information Association, Western Sydney University and the ABC have teamed up to bring you a morning that might just save your sanity in the age of clickbait and dodgy memes. On Tuesday 30 June 2026, from 10am to midday, you can join ABC Radio Sydney Senior Producer Rosemary Bolger and Woollahra Library's Lorin Reid at the Woollahra Library in Double Bay to watch, chew over and pick apart highlights from the ABC series The Matter Of Facts. Because let's face it, the internet is a swamp of questionable claims and we could all use a bit of a map.

Rose and Lorin will steer you through discussion on the key bits of the series, sharing tips and tricks to help you spot false information without needing a degree in conspiracy theory spotting. It's free, which is always nice, and you just need to grab a spot on Eventbrite. So if you fancy a relaxed morning learning how to interrogate a dodgy headline without losing your sense of humour, come along. Woollahra Library is at 451 New South Head Road, Double Bay, 2028.
