Merryl Greaves spends her days in a modest studio at Georges Heights, poking at abstract expression with acrylics that let her paint as quickly as a thought bursts out. She says her works are born from a stray memory or a fleeting experience mixed with a generous splash of imagination, and she enjoys the moment when the canvas decides what it wants to become – it's a bit like watching a mystery unfold without a script.

The Out of Line exhibition is hanging at Art 2 Muse Gallery, 234 Jersey Road, Woollahra from Tuesday 2 December 2025 through Monday 15 December 2025. The doors are open daily from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM and, just in case you were wondering, there's no charge at the gate.
