Steve Salo, that Aussie artist who's all about digging into the messy bits of the human soul through his paints, is showing off his latest creations at the Art2Muse exhibition. You know the type: portraits that don't just capture your face but wrestle with whatever's swirling in your head, and landscapes that make you feel the vibe of a place rather than just snapping a postcard pic. As Salo puts it, he's using paint to chat about emotions, skipping the shallow stuff to probe the mind and spirit's wild ride, because why settle for surface when you can get existential?

If you're in the Eastern Suburbs or up for a short drive, swing by Art2Muse Gallery at 234 Jersey Road in Woollahra from Tuesday 21 October 2025 at 9am through to Monday 3 November at 4pm.
