Jim Haynes, that yarn-spinning author bloke, is having a chinwag about his latest book Great Australian Odysseys: By Sea, Sky, Road and Rail. Think salty pioneers and dodgy larrikins staring down storms, carving paths through the bush, and somehow spinning bugger-all into bush poetry. Zahid Gamieldien will nudge the chat along without letting it derail.

Its free, but book online or miss out. Happens Wednesday 10 December 2025 from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm at Margaret Martin Library on Level 1, Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Belmore Road, Randwick.
