As the festive lights start twinkling, you might find the Christmas cheer feels a little more like a quiet hum than a full?blown carol. This laid?back Blue Christmas service is a chance to gather with folks who know what it's like to miss someone at the table. We'll dim the lights, light a few candles in memory of those who've gone, and say their names out loud – because a little spoken?out love never hurts. Think of it as a gentle pause in the holiday rush, a place to have a cuppa, stare at a flame, and let the mind wander without the usual tinsel?induced pressure.

Feel free to bring along a small token – a photo, a favourite trinket, anything that reminds you of your loved one – and lay it on our community table. It's free, it's informal, and everyone is welcome, whether you're looking for a moment of peace, a shared sigh, or just a neighbour to sit with while the world hums past. Wednesday 3 December 2025, 6?pm to 7?pm, 53A Ocean Street, Woollahra.
