Come hang out with us as we dive into Katia Ariel's latest brainchild, a book that's all about life, love, and the occasional existential crisis. It's not every day you get to read a mash-up of biography, memoir, and cultural history, especially wrapped around the truly fascinating tale of Ephraim Finch OAM. He wasn't just a deathworker; he was also a community hero and a keeper of our stories, which is pretty cool if you think about it.
So if you're keen to learn about life's big questions and perhaps find out how to become a guardian of cultural memory, this is the place to be. We'll be gathering at the Woollahra Library at Double Bay, where the books are stacked and the air is filled with the scent of literary ambition, on Wednesday, 18 June 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. It's a free gig, so bring your thoughts, your questions, and maybe your best bookish jokes.
