Bondi's salt soaked air and the steady background of surf make a perfectly breezy setting for a conversation about coastal crime. Bryan Brown will be in conversation with fellow writer Jane Caro to talk about his new thriller The Hidden, with a mix of seaside mystery and the odd behind the scenes acting story thrown in for good measure.

Bryan Brown is best known as an actor, with more than ninety film and television credits across roughly twenty countries including Australia and the United States. He published Sweet Jimmy, a 2021 collection of seven crime short stories, and his debut novel The Drowning appeared in 2023. The Hidden is his latest. Tickets are $20 for the talk only or $45 for the talk and book bundle. The event runs Saturday 22 November 2025 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Bondi Pavilion Theatre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach NSW 2026.
