The CALD Mens Workshop is a casual two hour session put on by Randwick City Council and the Sher Foundation, thanks to some funding from the NSW government for their Social Cohesion project. Its aimed at blokes from every corner of life, no matter your background or culture, and its all about getting comfy with stepping in as a bystander. Picture this: you chat with other guys from all sorts of places, swap a few yarns about your own stories and what makes your culture tick, mull over how identity and belonging play out differently everywhere, and pick up some straightforward tips on spotting and handling discrimination or hate without making things awkward. Its interactive, so expect some laughs and real talk along the way.

The whole things free, but youll need to register to snag a spot. Its happening on Thursday 30 October 2025 from 4pm to 6pm at Room 2008 in the Quadrangle Building, UNSW Kensington, on E15 College Road in Kensington, NSW 2033. Easy drive from the Eastern Suburbs if youre nearby.
