Ever thought about turning yourself into a mini game wizard without needing a PhD in computer science. This session lets you dive into coding your very own arcade game using Microsoft MakeCode, perfect for total newbies who have not touched code before. You will snap together blocks like digital Lego to craft a straightforward game, then get creative with character designs that are all your own. Once done, your masterpiece gets uploaded to the librarys shiny new arcade machine for some hands on playtime right there.

All the gear is sorted for you, just bring basic computer know how. It is free for anyone between 12 and 18 years old, with no entry for those outside that bracket. Bookings are a must to snag a spot. It happens on Wednesday 19 November 2025 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Lionel Bowen Library, 669 to 673 Anzac Parade in Maroubra.
