Ever wondered why your eyes sometimes lie to your brain like a sneaky mate pulling a prank. This Mini Makers Optical Illusion STEM Challenge for kids aged seven to twelve dives into that weird world of visual tricks. You'll poke around line drawings patterns and those trippy magic eye images that make you squint and question reality. Best bit you'll whip up your own illusion samples to show off with everything you need supplied. Expect two hands on craft sessions to turn those mind bending concepts into something you can hold.

Parents and carers have to stick around and lend a hand the whole time so no dropping off and dashing. It costs five bucks a pop and spots are limited so book ahead on Eventbrite. Its on Wednesday five November twenty twenty five from four pm to four forty five pm at Watsons Bay Library on eight Marine Parade in Watsons Bay postcode two zero three zero.
