Ever wondered where your recycling vanishes to after you chuck it in the bin? The National Recycling Week tour at Randwick Recycling Centre is your chance to snoop around and see the behind-the-scenes action. You'll spend about an hour wandering the facility, picking the brains of the experts on all those nagging questions, like whether polystyrene is worth the effort or what to do with that dusty old keyboard gathering cobwebs in your drawer. And those soft plastics that seem to multiply in your kitchen? They'll sort that out too, while showing how your stuff gets transformed instead of rotting in a landfill somewhere.

It's free, but you'll need to book through Humanitix to snag a spot. Happening on Sunday 16 November 2025 from 8.45 am to 2.00 pm at Randwick Recycling Centre, 72 Perry Street, Matraville, NSW 2036 Australia.
