Got an itch to showcase your hidden talents, from stand-up that might bomb hilariously to poetry that rhymes or doesnt. Open Mic Night at Lionel Bowen Library is your low-stakes stage, and with summer sessions now spilling onto the rooftop balcony, you can bask in those endless evenings and balmy nights while pretending youre a star.

Performers need to snag a Performer Ticket and cross your fingers for that pre-event email nod, while audience folks just grab an Audience Ticket to heckle appreciate the show. Its free for 15 and up, though parents can bring kids if they reckon they can handle the potential chaos. Happens Friday 12 December 2025 from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm at Lionel Bowen Library, 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra.
