Think of it as building a tiny, noisy museum exhibit that actually moves. Over three Tuesday afternoons at Woollahra Library you'll work with science educator Parker McLean to design and prototype an interactive display that shows a scientific idea in a way people can poke, prod or laugh at while learning. This is for ages 13 to 18 and the aim is practical: make something that communicates a concept to library visitors.

You'll use VEX IQ robotics, gears and linkages, and a bit of coding to bring your idea to life. Possible projects include reaction time challenges, optical illusions, probability games, mechanical demos or interactive takes on plant and animal behaviour. The event is free and you can register on Eventbrite.
