Sci Fight Comedy Debate: De-extinction is the best

Six very human scientists and comedians face off to settle a slightly terrifying question: should we drag extinct animals back into the present or leave the past in the past. Pre-history is the future, apparently, thanks to CRISPR, a bit of ancient DNA, genome sequencing and enough coffee to fuel a small de-extinction factory. Expect earnest science, sharper jokes and the occasional existential shrug.

The evening will romp through ethical puzzles, imagine what a resurrected moa might do on the Harbour Bridge and ask whether a mammoth would appreciate avocado toast. No neat answers guaranteed, just spirited debate, bad puns and people trying to make sense of progress when history refuses to stay extinct.
