This spring, the folks at Woollahra Libraries are teaming up with the Kids Alive Do the Five campaign, alongside the Australian Library and Information Association and the Australian Public Library Alliance, for a bit of watery wisdom at story time. Aimed at little ones aged three to five, the sessions dive into water-themed tales, tunes, and hands-on crafts that sneak in some straightforward safety know-how for the swimming season, because nothing says family fun like learning not to treat the local pool like a slip-n-slide disaster zone.

Its all free, happening at the Woollahra Library in Double Bay on Saturday 8 November 2025 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, and again on Wednesday 12 November 2025 at the same time. Swing by 451 New South Head Road, number one, Double Bay, postcode 2028, if youre in the Eastern Suburbs or nearby, for an hour of stories and safety that might just save you from a soggy surprise.
