Hang out with Parker and figure out how to code real stuff to wiggle, scoot and dodge things like light, pokes or nearby obstacles. Using VEX IQ kits, youll be wiring up motors and sensors to junk like cardboard, programming a little vehicle that hopefully wont nose dive off the table, and fiddling with gears, linkages and gadgets that make things work without falling apart.

No skills needed, anyone from 13 to 18 can jump in. Its free but spots are limited so register ahead. Happens Friday 9 January 2026 from 10am to midday at Woollahra Library, 451 New South Head Road number 1, Double Bay, 2028.
