If youre around the Eastern Suburbs and fancy hearing artists chat about their tiny masterpieces, the Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize Talks with Morgan Stokes and Belem Lett might be your afternoon fix. These two finalists are sitting down separately with Curatorial Assistant Maya Martin-Westheimer for 30-minute yarns about their creative quirks, what sparked their ideas, and the odd tales behind their entries. Its the sort of thing where you might learn why a sculpture looks like it does, or just nod along while pondering your own lack of artistic talent.

Expect some straight talk on processes and influences, plus a bit at the end for you to fire questions their way, because who doesnt want to grill an artist politely. Its all free, happening on Saturday 25 October 2025 from 2pm to 3.30pm at Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf on 548 New South Head Road in Double Bay.
